Body Found at Recycling Sorting Facility

December 2, 2010 10:20 AM | News

Here’s something you don’t expect when sorting through recyclable material — a body.

Employees at a BFI recycling facility in the RM of Rosser discovered the body of an elderly woman on Wednesday morning.

Stonewall RCMP say it’s believed the body was dumped in a cardboard recycling bin that had been picked up in Winnipeg.

An autopsy will be conducted on the deceased, but police are treating it as a suspicious death.

The identity of the woman isn’t known at this time.
