World Under-17 Hockey Tickets Going on Sale

Tickets for the 2011 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. (HOCKEYCANADA.CA)

Individual tickets for the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge round robin go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.

The tournament is slated for December 28 to January 4, 2011 in Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie at the MTS Iceplex and Portage Credit Union (PCU) Centre, respectively. MTS Centre will also play host to some of the games.

The international tournament will feature 10 teams — five regional teams representing Hockey Canada, as well as teams representing the USA, Finland, Germany, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

Tickets for all exhibitions games will be $16, while tickets for all round robin games (both at the MTS Iceplex and at the PCU Centre) will be $18. The Medal Round Package consists of tickets to each of the gold and bronze medal games as well as both semi-final games. Each of those packages will be $88.

Ticket packages are available at Ticketmaster and the Portage Credit Union Centre.
