Students from Winnipeg Technical College’s hairstyling program will be using their skills to raise money for the Christmas Cheer Board this week.
As part of their annual “Feel Good Inside and Out” event, the students will be offering a haircut and style, or manicure at the Henlow Bay campus.
The event will run on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and costs $10. Appointments can be booked by calling (204) 989-6535. Walk-ins are also welcome.
All proceeds will go to the Cheer Board, which is working to distribute thousands of Christmas hampers and gifts to families and children in need this holiday season.
