A crash between two semi-trailer trucks on Highway 1 near Portage la Prairie diverted traffic Monday morning.
RCMP say the crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. when a westbound semi collided with another semi that was stopped on the shoulder.
No injuries were reported, but a small fuel spill had to be cleaned up.
Westbound traffic is being rerouted through Portage la Prairie around the highway’s bypass until further notice.
UPDATE: 2:45 p.m. — Westbound lanes have reopened to traffic.
