Manitoba athletes will get a financial boost after an upcoming food and wine tasting event to help send them to the Olympics.
Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba is partnering with De Luca’s to host a Tour of the World Wine Tasting Fundraiser on Saturday, February 26, 2011.
The event at De Luca’s Cooking Studio, 950 Portage Avenue, will feature a sampling of over 25 different wines, a selection of Italian hors d’oeuvres, pastas and desserts.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting Manitoba’s Olympic hopefuls in London in 2012 and Sochi in 2014.
