Holiday shoppers were treated to a surprise Saturday afternoon in the Kildonan Place Shopping Centre food court.

About 100 choir members from across Manitoba gathered to create a flash mob at 12:45 p.m. and sang “Hallelujah” from Handel’s Messiah.
Unsuspecting shoppers were caught off guard by the display, which was inspired by a YouTube video.
The event had been in the works for several weeks and had to be kept low profile.
