An elderly Gretna, Manitoba man faces a trespassing charge after rummaging through a neighbour’s garage.
RCMP say the 71-year-old was seen with a flashlight in the garage looking around the homeowner’s shelves. He was also spotted by a neighbour in another yard surveying items behind and beside the garage.
The incident happened on December 16 at about 8:40 p.m. in Gretna.
The suspect was released from custody on a promise to appear and will report to Altona court on January 26, 2011.
