Winnipeg Nomads (HANDOUT)
The Winnipeg Nomads Football Club is hosting a holiday kickoff athletic camp from December 27 to 28.
The Nomads Athletic Club is geared at anyone aged seven and up and will be run by Winnipeg Blue Bomber Alumni Dean Lytle.
Special guest appearances will be made by players from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and feature strength and condition coaches.
This initial camp is free for everyone to participate in one of the most advanced sports training programs in the province.
Participants will receive:
- Two hours of professional training per day
- Nomads Athletic Club T-Shirt
- Registration Gift Bag
- Free Nomads Athletic Club joining fee
- Free Swim pass
- Family prizes, games and entrance into prize draws
The camp will take place at North Centennial Recreation and Leisure Facility, 90 Sinclair Street.
Each camp will run two hours in three different slots: 7-12 years from 10 a.m. to noon, 13-17 years from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 18+ from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Registration forms are available at the facility, or athletes can register in person on the the 27th beginning at 8 a.m.
