An intoxicated man on a snowmobile allegedly taunted police, swore at them and fishtailed around a parking lot in Petersfield, Manitoba on Friday.

RCMP say the incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. when police observed the man driving in an erratic manner.

The man eventually fell off the snowmobile in front of officers while driving circles around them.

He was arrested — obviously — and had his 2011 Polaris snowmobile impounded.

The 35-year-old man from the RM of St. Andrews was later released and will appear in Selkirk court on February 4, 2011.
