Slippery roads are being blamed on a rollover on Lagimodiere Boulevard Tuesday morning.

The driver of a pickup truck had to be extricated from his vehicle when it rolled near East Mint Place at about 9:30 a.m.
He was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Winnipeg police say the Ford pickup was heading southbound on Lagimodiere when the driver lost control and came to a rest in the northbound lane.
Roadways in the area were closed for about an hour as crews cleaned up the scene.
