Moose Hit Outdoor Arena Ice for Practice on Sunday

January 7, 2011 7:14 AM | Sports

The Manitoba Moose will take to an outdoor rink Sunday afternoon for a practice.

The Kirkfield-Westwood Community Centre (Keith Bodley Arena) will host the team from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the annual Manitoba Moose Community Jersey program.

Every member of the team will be there, including mascot Mick E. Moose and all coaching staff, to run drills and play a game of shinny against the Kirkfield-Westwood 11A-1 team. An autograph signing session will follow.

The community centre earned the right to host the outdoor practice when they won second place in last season’s Manitoba Moose Community Jersey Program by selling tickets to Moose games.
