The Winnipeg Foundation is celebrating its 90th anniversary with a free community festival on Sunday.
Our Great Community will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Alloway Hall at the Manitoba Museum, and celebrate the foundation’s history and the hundreds of charitable organizations that operate within the city.
Exhibits from more than 50 charities will also be on display.
And If you’re a fan of cake — and who isn’t? — a cake-cutting ceremony will begin at 2 p.m.
The day also includes free entry to the museum.
The Winnipeg Foundation has granted more than $240 million in its 90-year history.
