An author part of an initiative to get Manitobans on the same page when it comes to reading and talking about the same book will sign copies of his work on Sunday.
On The Same Page was launched by The Winnipeg Foundation and Winnipeg Public Library, and includes book giveaways, author appearances and special events to celebrate great Manitoba books and authors.
Jake MacDonald, author of “Juliana and the Medicine Fish,” was chosen by Manitobans as this year’s title and a full slate of events is now being offered to get everyone in on the discussion.
McDonald will sign copies of his book tomorrow at the St. Vital Chapters, 1225 St. Mary’s Road, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. He will also be at McNally Robinson Booksellers in Grant Park Shopping Centre on Wednesday, January 19 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
