Today is your last chance to have your say on cell phone contracts and regulation in Manitoba.
The provincial government is looking at making amendments to the Consumer Protection Act and asked for public input in December.
Changes will include regulating cell phone companies to outline fair and clear contracts to customers.
Written submissions and comments on cell phone contract changes can be sent to consumers@gov.mb.ca.
Officials will review all complaints and make recommendations based on their findings. Quebec is the only Canadian province that regulates cell phone contracts to ensure clarity with it comes to billing, fees and contract terms.
