American pop singer Katy Perry announced her 2011 U.S. and Canadian tour Wednesday afternoon, including a stop in Winnipeg.
Perry will play MTS Centre on Thursday, July 14 as part of her “California Dreams World Tour.”
The newlywed — who recently married actor Russell Brand — made the announcement live from Facebook’s headquarters in Palo Alto, California while taking questions from fans.
Tickets go on sale January 28 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Pre-sale VIP packages go on sale January 21 at 6 p.m.
Ticket prices are $39.50 and $49.50.
Other western Canadian dates on Perry’s tour include Regina on July 13, Calgary on July 16, Edmonton on July 17 and Vancouver on July 19.
