The Massachusetts woman who fell into a mall’s fountain while texting doesn’t like all the Internet attention she’s been getting. And now, she is considering suing the mall where the incident took place.

Cathy Cruz Marrero happens to be an employee at the mall, and didn’t realize security staff had uploaded the surveillance footage that caught her mishap on YouTube until family and friends told her.

She says she’s upset about the snarky remarks and laughter made at her expense.

“My issue is I don’t think security was professional because they didn’t send anyone to check on me until 20 minutes later and I had already left,” Marrero said in an interview with the Reading Eagle.

The woman’s face isn’t clearly visible in the video — some even saying it looks like a teenage girl — but Marrero still seems set on lawyering up.

She appeared in an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America” this week to vent her frustration. According to ABC, Marrero was charged with theft in 2009 for allegedly using a coworker’s credit card. She has also been charged in the past with a string of retail thefts and a hit-and-run.
