Joe Cool himself will deliver the keynote address at the upcoming 39th annual “Y” Sports Dinner.

Pro football Hall of Famer Joe Montana, considered the best NFL quarterback of all time, will speak at the dinner in support of the Rady Jewish Community Centre.

Tickets to the June 21 event at the Winnipeg Convention Centre can be reserved by calling (204) 477-7513.

“His excellence as a player is legendary. This is a guy who played with broken fingers, cracked ribs, concussions, you name it — he is one of the toughest quarterbacks ever to play the game,” said Ken Kronson, Sports Dinner Chair. “His physical bravery is just another exceptional trait that he possesses.”

Funds raised from 2010’s “Y” Sports Dinner enabled the Rady JCC to provide almost $200,000 in subsidies for families experiencing economically hard times, children and youth with special needs, seniors, and people living with serious illnesses.
