Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis (HANDOUT)
Jazz Winnipeg has revealed the first two concerts for the upcoming 2011 TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival.
Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will perform a special festival preview concert on Tuesday, June 14, while Portland, Oregon’s Pink Martini will close out the festival on Saturday, June 25.
Tickets for both concerts at the Centennial Concert Hall go on sale Friday, February 4 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Members of the Friends of Jazz Winnipeg program can take advantage of a presale offer on Wednesday, February 2.
Tickets for Wynton Marsalis are $65, while Pink Martini tickets are $49.50.
The festival runs from June 16-25.
