Outfielder Aharon Eggleston has been signed to the Goldeyes’ roster for the upcoming season, the team announced Thursday.
Eggleston batted .331 in 86 games with the Goldeyes last season and added three home runs and 31 RBI. He also scored 64 runs, which was second on the team behind Juan Diaz.
The 29-year-old has hit over .300 in five of his six professional seasons, the exception being 2006 when he hit .251 with the Edmonton Cracker-Cats. He led the Northern League in hits in 2008 with 126 and 2009 with 123 while with the Kansas City T-Bones.
The Goldeyes also announced today that the playing rights to outfielder Dee Brown, designated hitter Juan Diaz and outfielder Justin Justice have been released.
