The Winnipeg Art Gallery has brought on several new members to its Board of Governors, bringing the total number to 19.
“These individuals who bring a broad range of business and cultural skills to the board table, represent what is great about Winnipeg and Manitoba — and how the WAG is situated in this equation” said WAG Director Stephen Borys.
Curt Vossen, President of Richardson International Limited, Kevin Donnelly, Senior Vice-President and General Manager of MTS Centre, True North Sports & Entertainment Ltd., and Curwin Friesen, CEO and President of Friesens Corporation, are the newest appointees to the Board,
The WAG welcomed two other new Board members last fall, including Heather Richardson, an active community worker and patron of the arts, who also sits on the boards of Balmoral Hall School and the St. John’s College Council at the University of Manitoba, and John Orlikow, Councillor, River Heights-Ford Garry Ward.
