A 19-year-old female pizza delivery driver was assaulted by four teens early Friday morning in Selkirk.
RCMP say the driver was making a delivery shortly after midnight on Dorchester Street when four males — aged 15 to 19 — assaulted her outside the residence.
The suspects all wore balaclavas and bandanas, with one of them attempting to put the woman in a chokehold, while another suspect tried to gain entry to her vehicle.
When access to the car was unsuccessful, the teens fled, stealing the pizza that was about to be delivered.
Two of the four suspects are believed to be aboriginal. Two are also described as being six feet tall and skinny, while a third is said to be short with a heavyset build. A description of the fourth suspect wasn’t known to police, however one of the suspects is believed to have a facial piercing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Selkirk RCMP at (204) 482-1222 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
