Crash Injures Three in RM of Hanover

Three people were injured Thursday in a two-vehicle collision in the RM of Hanover.

Steinbach RCMP say the crash happened at the intersection of Road 34 North and Road 29 East.

A westbound minivan is reported to have gone through a stop sign, hitting a southbound pickup truck.

The two people in their 80s travelling in the minivan were taken to Bethesda Hospital with unknown injuries. The female passenger of the van was later transported to Winnipeg for further treatment, where she remains in serious condition. Police say her injuries are not life threatening.

The 36-year-old man driving the pickup was also taken to Bethesda Hospital. His injuries aren’t known.

The investigation into the accident continues.

Hanover is about 80 km southeast of Winnipeg.
