A 51-year-old man was rescued on Saturday after spending three days alone in the woods.
The man was dropped off at a property near Meleb, Manitoba to cut wood and was injured in the process when he was struck by a tree.
RCMP say the man was discovered laying in the woods by the person who had originally dropped him off days prior.
He was rescued by emergency personnel on a toboggan and then transported to hospital with undetermined, but non-life threatening injuries.
Meleb is about 100 km north of Winnipeg.
