One Weekend Remaining to Enjoy ‘Snow Trek’

February 8, 2011 7:28 AM | Entertainment

There’s one more Sunday left this winter to take part in Snow Trek, the second annual Winter in Motion.

The fun-filled afternoon on February 13 is meant for the entire family to enjoy the outdoors by cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing and winter walking.

Free cross-country ski and snowshoe lessons will be given to beginners, and equipment will be supplied.

Snow Trek runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Living Prairie Museum, 2795 Ness Avenue.

Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help them this weekend. If you’re interested, send an e-mail to Deanna at dbetteridge@wrha.mb.ca.
