The premiers of Manitoba and Saskatchewan will gather in Brandon today to begin a two-day joint cabinet meeting.

Premier Greg Selinger and Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall will discuss flood prevention, harmonizing transportation regulations and improving inter-provincial electrical capacity.

The two leaders will also discuss the progress made since their first joint cabinet meeting in Yorkton last February.

“There has been substantial progress on all these issues, and the Brandon meeting will be a chance to highlight how far we have come,” Wall said in a statement.

Innovation in health care is also on the schedule.
