The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed two familiar names to the club on Friday, bringing back import defensive lineman Dorian Smith and non-import fullback Jon Oosterhuis.

Both Smith and Oosterhuis were expected to become free agents next week.

Smith begins his third season with the Bombers, while Oosterhuis returns for his tenth season.

“We’re thrilled to have both Dorian and Jon back on our team next season,” General Manager Joe Mack said in a release. “Jon is a veteran who brings tremendous leadership into our locker room and we believe Dorian’s great career in our league is just beginning.”

The Blue Bombers also signed import offensive lineman Marlon Winn and import running back Alex Henderson.

In other Bomber news, Doug Brown will be signing autographs on Saturday at the Rona in Winkler between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., while Glenn January and Buck Pierce will be in Beausejour for the 2011 Manitoba Men’s Provincial Curling Championship. The two will sign autographs from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. behind the Bomber table at the Sun Gro Centre.
