It’s a big night at MTS Centre as former Manitoba Moose captain Mike Keane will have his #12 jersey retired this evening.

A special pre-game ceremony will pay tribute to Keane — a three-time Stanley Cup champion — beginning at 7:30 p.m.

It’s the first jersey the Moose will retire in franchise history.

The first 4,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative Mike Keane #12 replica mini-banner.

The ceremony, part of Mike Keane Tribute Night, will wrap up a two-night set with the Moose facing off against the San Antonio Rampage.

Puck drop is at 8 p.m.

UPDATE: Premier Greg Selinger will induct Mike Keane into Manitoba’s Order of the Buffalo Hunt during tonight’s ceremony in recognition of his incredible hockey career.
