Early bird tickets for the 2011 Winnipeg Folk Festival will go on sale Monday.
The festival is celebrating its 38th anniversary this year, and will once again cap its daily attendance at 14,000 like it did last year.
“We strive to provide a positive festival experience for all, and managing capacity is a key part of our strategy,” said executive director Tamara Kater.
Camping and festival access will be bundled into one ticket this year, and there will be an additional 500 festival campground tickets available for public sale.
Ticket options this year are a five-day ticket, five-day ticket with camping and individual tickets.
Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster and at the Winnipeg Folk Festival Music Store, 211 Bannatyne Avenue, beginning at 11 a.m.
This year’s festival runs from Wednesday, July 6 to Sunday, July 10.
