A Valentine’s Day-themed fundraiser will support MS research this afternoon, as students and staff from the University of Manitoba dye their hair red.
The Red Head Challenge will be led by Team Pharmacy, with a goal of raising awareness of the fight against Multiple Sclerosis.
Professor and neuroscientist Dr. Mike Namaka will be one of the participants having his hair dyed bright red.
The event takes place between noon and 1 p.m. on stage in the Brodie Atrium on the Bannatyne Campus, with the hair colouring process set for 12:30 pm.
Winnipeg Blue Bomber Kelly Butler and Hot 103’s Chrissy Troy will be on hand to help with the event.
