Summer is several months away, but if you’re thinking about summer employment already, Take Pride Winnipeg has many positions available.
The Green Wave program has been created to employ students to beautify the city, and teach them job skills such as team work, organization and time management.
The program will run July 4 to August 19 and have students divided into teams, as they’re assigned various tasks and duties each day.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Training, uniforms and any special protective equipment will be provided. Wage is $9.75 per hour.
Applicants aged 16 to 19 who live in Winnipeg should e-mail their resume with a cover letter to Jorge Orellana, youth programs coordinator, at jorge@takepride.mb.ca.
