The Winnipeg Goldeyes signed two left-handed pitchers on Wednesday, making up 13 players now on the roster.
Zach Baldwin and Chris Salamida will return to the Goldeyes for the 2011 season.
Baldwin, 27, has spent the last three seasons with Winnipeg, and had a 3.21 ERA and a 5-3 record in 36 games for the Goldeyes last season. Baldwin sits third on the Goldeyes all-time games played list for pitchers with 91 appearances.
Salamida, 26, was the only Goldeyes pitcher to have a double digit win total. He went 10-9 and posted a 5.31 ERA in 21 starts a year ago. Before joining the Goldeyes last summer, Salamida spent four seasons in the Houston Astros organization at the Single-A and Double-A levels.
