The University of Winnipeg and Sisler High School signed an agreement on Wednesday, linking IT programs between Sisler and the U of W’s Division of Continuing Education (DCE).

The agreement gives Sisler students the opportunity to earn university credits while still in high school by participating in unique technology projects.

The partnership will link Sisler’s Digital Media Certificate and Game Design Certificate programs with the IT programs that presently exist within the Division of Continuing Education.

Sisler students participating will also have access to UWinnipeg’s state-of-the-art Digital Learning Lab expected to open by summer 2011.
