After the Assiniboine Credit Union River Trail was closed due to slushy conditions, it’s finally reopened thanks to cooler temperatures.
“The warm temperatures have brought people out in droves, which is fantastic, but the trail has paid the price,” said Paul Jordan with The Forks.
Not only is the trail open again, but the upper trails in Arctic Glacier Winter Park are also open and in good condition.
Long weekend programming includes a Polar Bear Push, Made in Manitoba and Aerial Kite Boarding Demonstration and other family activities on Monday, February 21.
Updated conditions of the 3.5 kilometres of trail are available at RiverTrail.ca.
