In celebration of Black History Month across Canada, former Major League Baseball player Fergie Jenkins is receiving his own stamp.
Jenkins, a National and Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, will be joined by Canada Post representatives at City Hall today for the launch of the stamp.
Mayor Sam Katz and members from the Fergie Jenkins Foundation will also precede over the noon hour ceremony.
Jenkins will sign autographs following the announcement.
