Team Jennifer Jones didn’t have the greatest weekend in Prince Edward Island to close out the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
Jones’ team lost to Saskatchewan’s Amber Holland 8-7 on Sunday, just days after Team Manitoba and former teammate Cathy Overton-Clapham also defeated the Jones rink.
Late Monday night, the ladies from the St. Vital Curling Club arrived back in Winnipeg to talk all about it.
Watch:
Holland’s win is the first national women’s title for Saskatchewan since 1997, shelving Jones’ chance at winning her fourth national title in a row.
