The Forks is in the running to be named one of the Great Places in Canada.
The Canadian Institute of Planners is soliciting votes for hundreds of destinations across the country.
Neighbourhoods, streets and public spaces are the three categories where Canadians can submit their nominations.
The Forks has more than 600 votes and is close to the top 10 position.
Voting will close on March 25 and the winner will be announced in May
