The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Final 4 Volleyball Championships will be hosted at Red River College this weekend.
The host Rebel men are in first place and will look to clinch their third consecutive MCAC title. The men will meet the fourth-ranked Assiniboine Community College tonight at 8 p.m. The second place Canadian Mennonite University Blazers will square off against Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface — currently in third place — in the other men’s semifinal at 4 p.m., with the men’s championship set for Saturday at 8 p.m.
Two-time defending MCAC champion and first place Canadian Mennonite University will lead the women’s action beginning at 2 p.m. today against Assiniboine Community College, with RRC taking on Providence College at 6 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m.
Admission to the two-day event is $5 for a weekend pass, and free for those under 18 and students/staff of RRC.
The championships will be played in the newly-upgraded North Gym at the Notre Dame Campus.
