A company contracted out by the City of Winnipeg is looking for help filling 500,000 sandbags beginning Thursday.
To help prepare for the spring flood fight, people are asked to show up to 1191 Kenaston Boulevard at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
Work is expected to be completed within 10 days and those who help out will be compensated.
Alternatively, wages can be donated to CancerCare Manitoba.
