Tickets for the International Cello Festival of Canada are now on sale.
The festival — taking place from June 15-19 — will be held at numerous locations throughout Winnipeg, and will gather about 40 cellists.
Cellists will participate in a variety of chamber works for cello, solo recitals, performances of concertos with the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra and a gala presentation co-produced with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
Artists from Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, the United States, and China will join Canadian artists, many of whom are from Winnipeg.
