Visiting Ottawa professor Thomas A. Brzustowski will deliver his Knight Lecture titled, “Why Innovation? Why Engineering? Why Design?” at the University of Manitoba this evening.
Brzustowski is the RBC Professor in the Commercialization of Innovations at the Telfer School of Managament at the University of Ottawa and is the past president of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.
“The Knight Lecture is part of the Robert and Elizabeth Knight Distinguished Visiting Lecturer program and is intended to enhance and enrich Winnipeg’s and the University of Manitoba’s academic life and discourse on a variety of topics,” a news release from the U of M read.
The lecture at 8 p.m. is free and open to the public. It will be held in E3-270 Engineering and Information Technology Complex on the U of M’s Fort Garry campus.
