A new episode of the 2010 Winnipeg Comedy Festival will air tonight, highlighting last spring’s performances at the Pantages Playhouse Theatre.
“Open House” is a humorous one-hour take on owning a home. Some of North America’s best comedic talent will take audiences down the road of a tree-lined cul-de-sac from buying your first house, to living next door to your parents, and finally, the nursing home.
Hosted by Tim Hutt, the special will also feature such comedians as Cathy Jones from “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” and “Last Comic Standing” finalist Tammy Pescatelli.
The series of gala specials was produced by local company Frantic Films and will air at 8 p.m CT tonight on CBC.
The next episode in the series will be “Whose Canada is it Anyways?” on March 22, followed by “True Stories & Other Lies” on March 29 and “Jest Obsessed” on April 5.
