One person needed to be extracted from a vehicle Wednesday afternoon after it collided with a light standard.

The accident happened at the corner of Waterfront Drive and Pioneer Avenue.
Emergency personnel examined the passenger of the vehicle on scene, but no serious injuries were reported.
It’s unclear how the accident happened, but northbound traffic was blocked on Waterfront until debris could be moved away.
According to a witness, a second vehicle was also involved, but only suffered minor damage.
