The Winnipeg Goldeyes signed outfielder Justin Bass and right-handed pitcher T.J. Macy to the team on Thursday.
Bass, 25, spent the last three seasons in the Florida Marlins system, and hit .240 with 19 home runs and 50 RBI in 103 games during his time with the Single-A Greensboro of the South Atlantic League last season.
“He’s intriguing to me as a guy that can play all three outfield positions. He’s a better than average runner and he can play first base,” manager Rick Forney said in a release.
T.J. Macy comes to the Fish after having his playing right acquired by the team from the Maui Strong Warriors of the North American League.
Macy, 24, had a 2.45 ERA last year with Maui and a 1-3 record in 30 appearances out of the bullpen.
