Tonight’s Manitoba Moose game will be the sixth annual Military Appreciation Night.

The Moose will take to the ice against the Texas Stars while wearing Arctic camouflage military jerseys emblazoned on the shoulder with the official crest of the Canadian Rangers.

The night will include musical acts performances by the HMCS Chippawa Band, the Air Command Band’s Brass Quintet, and the 402nd Squadron Pipes and Drums beginning at 6 p.m. in various locations throughout MTS Centre.

On Wednesday, more than 8,600 tickets had already been sold for the game.

Sunday’s rematch with the Texas Stars will be Family Day at MTS Centre, with Batman: The Dark Knight in attendance to meet and take photos with the kids. Game time is 2 p.m.
