A creative culinary festival featuring the talents of book lovers, amateur cooks, book artists, culinary students and librarians will take over the Millennium Library on Saturday, April 9.
The library is hosting the Books2Eat challenge, where participants will create a piece of edible art related to books.
The rules are very simple: the creation must be made of all edible materials and it has to be inspired by a book.
The challenge will run from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the 9th. To enter, send an e-mail with your name, phone number, e-mail address and “book” title to books2eat@winnipeg.ca.
You can also send your entry via regular mail to: Books2Eat, c/o Reader Services, Millennium Library, 251 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3P5.
The deadline to enter is March 31, 2011.
