University of Manitoba Hosting Global Forest Lecture

A Cultural Events Lecture hosted by the U of M’s Faculty of Architecture is planned for this evening.

Guest speaker Diana Beresford-Koregerm, author of “The Global Forest, Arboretum Borealis: A Lifeline of the Planet” will speak on the Fort Garry campus.

The lecture begins at 6 p.m. in Centre Space, located in the J. A. Russell Building.

Beresford-Koregerm has contributed to, written for, or hosted programs on CBC Radio, National Public Radio, and CTV. In 2005, CBC’s flagship program, Ideas, aired “The Ideas of Diana Beresford-Kroeger” and in 2007, “Recreating Eden,” a syndicated public television nature series, broadcast “Renegade Scientist,” a documentary about her life and work.
