Bisons Football to Hold Junior I.D. and Development Camps

Football players aged 12 -19 can take part in Junior Bison Football Identification and Development Football Camps next week.

The Manitoba Bisons Football team is offering the camps as a short term and long range scouting and recruitment opportunity from March 28-31.

Athletes will learn about football conditioning and training, including working with a qualified trainer in the Bison’s weight room.

The first camp will be held over a two day period from March 28-29 for high school players aged 14-19 with practice and scrimmage held at the Winnipeg Soccer Federation (WSF) Indoor Soccer Complex at the University of Manitoba campus. For players aged 12-14, there is a Junior Bison Development Identification camp on Thursday, March 31.

March 28-29 (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) for ages 14-19
Offensive Line/Defensive Line camp (Barcode: 11039)
Quarterbacks/Receivers/Defensive Backs camp (Barcode: 11040)
Linebackers/Running Backs camp (Barcode: 11041)

Thursday, March 31 (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) for ages 12-14
Junior Bison Development Identification camp (Barcode: 11042)

Registration is $100 for players aged 14-19 and $65 for those aged 12-14.

The camps will take place in the WSF Indoor Soccer Complex on the U of M’s Fort Garry campus. To register, visit GoBisons.ca.

Athletes are required to bring their own marked football, full equipment, clean shoes and lunch. All camp participants will receive a Bison practice jersey.
