Perth’s has launched the 2011 “Gowns for Grads” program, making it possible for those less fortunate students to attend their graduation in a beautiful gown or dress.

Twenty-one Winnipeg Perth’s locations will be accepting gently used gowns and dresses from now until mid-July.

“Grad night is a special time, and the culmination of years of hard work for students. It’s also becoming more and more expensive,” said Diana Emmons, Perth’s manager of operations. “Any assistance we can provide to help offset that expense, is a contribution well worth making.”

Perth’s will clean all of the gowns received and donate them to the Winnipeg School Division for those who require them.
