For 24 hours, 92 CITI FM will be taking song requests for a $50 pledge to CancerCare Manitoba.

The move comes as morning show host Joe Aiello grieves the loss of his wife, Alanna, who lost her battle with cancer on Monday.

Hundreds of people wrote their condolences Tuesday on the station’s Facebook page.

Listeners can make their request and donation securely online beginning at 8 a.m. today. Pledges are also being accepted at (204) 780-2484.

Limited edition T-shirts reading “Eff U Cancer” accompanied by the 92 CITI FM logo are also being sold for $20 at all Mark’s locations and at the station (166 Osborne Street). All proceeds will go directly to CancerCare Manitoba.
