Winnipeggers like anything that’s free, including food.
That’s why one of Canada’s team-buying websites is giving away hot dogs for four hours in downtown Winnipeg.
TeamBuy.ca says they’ve partnered with Smoke’n Bobs to provide the grub between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday in front of 201 Portage Avenue. Three hot dog carts will be set up to handle the demand, and at the same time raise the profile of the website, which has broken into the local consumer-saving craze.
The first 100 visitors will receive $5 in TeamBucks to be used towards a purchase on the site.
